The [Home Mortgage Disclosure Act](https://www.bankerscompliance.com/banking-regulations-compliance-services/reviews-2/hmda/) proposal to expand reporting requirements is nearing the end of its comment period. Comments are due by October 29, 2014, at 11:59 p.m. (ET). While there are some good things included in this proposal, we feel there are some that are not and some that really need further clarification from the CFPB. As of today, there have only been 35 comments submitted and we encourage you to take a little time and make your voice heard. To assist you in this effort, our comment letter is available for you to view on the [free downloads page](https://store.bankerscompliance.com/#?keyword=Tools&type=Forum&close=true) of our website. Since this letter is based on my personal experiences, being both an examiner and consultant, you won’t want to copy and paste it word for word, but please feel free to use it as a guide for ideas in your own comment letter.
