Let’s be honest, compliance officers. You are smart people! Being able to read and understand regulations isn’t something everyone can do. You also have to have the ability to relay what you learn to various members of your team, from management and your Board to people on the front line. What compliance officers and other trainers need to remember, however, is that it's not impressive to simply regurgitate regulations and use big fancy words. What’s impressive and ultimately impacts your institution is taking those regulations and turning them into something your team can understand, relate to and implement.
