Currency transaction reporting takes a lot of time, effort and energy to maintain compliance.  Not only does the [CTR](https://bsaaml.ffiec.gov/manual/AssessingComplianceWithBSARegulatoryRequirements/05) have to be completed within a certain time, it must be completed correctly.  We find confusion is quite common with respect to “critical” and “non-critical” fields on the [CTR](https://www.fdic.gov/news/financial-institution-letters/2021/fil21012c.pdf).
