HMDA for Large Filers: Filing Instruction Guide

Whether you are a large or small filer for HMDA, you should be familiar with the CFPB’s Filing Instruction Guide (FIG). This manual is the official authority when it comes to filing your HMDA data each year. Often when there seems to be questions and/or discrepancies between the Regulation and other guidance, we tell banks to refer to the FIG and what it says.
