We say it all the time… HMDA compliance is difficult because the margin for error is so small. While human error does happen, you want to keep it to a minimum. Institutions should have a mentality of (and strive for) perfection because having too many errors and having to scrub and resubmit your [HMDA](https://www.consumerfinance.gov/data-research/hmda/) LAR is no picnic.
