The CFPB will be holding a field hearing on November 20, 2013, in Boston, Massachusetts. The CFPB has used past meeting like this as a platform to announce the issuance of new rules. Remember, the CFPB promised earlier this year they would deliver the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) “integrated disclosures” final rule by year-end. Could it be that the TILA-RESPA integrated disclosures final rule is right around the corner? Stay tuned!
