The CFPB has sent us a little Christmas cheer in the form of not one but two Final Rules related to Qualified Mortgages (QM). These Rules finalize the requirements for both the General QM and Seasoned QM, which were proposed earlier this year. The mandatory compliance date is July 1, 2021, so you’re not going to sit around and wait too long.
