Last Thursday (9/30), I wrote a blog indicating the NFIP might expire again as the President hadn’t signed the bills passed by Congress.  Well he did.  The [Government Tracking website](http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s111-3814) reports:

> *This bill has been passed by both chambers of Congress and has been signed by the President. It will become law once administrative actions are complete. **[Last Updated: Oct 1, 2010 3:19PM]*

Better late than never I guess.  Now we don’t have to worry about flood insurance expiring – until next year.
