CFPB Director Richard Cordray has announced that he plans to leave the CFPB by the end of the month. Just like his recess appointment resulted in much controversy, there has been much speculation as to whether he would complete his term as the CFPB’s Director which was set to end in July. So, while this isn’t a surprise, it’s certain to make life in the compliance world a little more interesting.
