Training is essential for every member of your team, but it is especially crucial for new hires. Whether they have worked in banking before or not, there is so much to learn. You obviously can’t bombard them with everything in the first couple of days or weeks because the likelihood of them retaining everything isn’t good. A good approach is to start with the basics and those regulations related to their specific job duties and work your way up from there. Another important thing to train them on is who they should go to or who they should ask when they have questions or run into trouble.
