As part of its April 15th Mortgagee Letter 2025-12, HUD referenced an updated Servicemembers Civil Relief Act Notice, with an expiration date of March 31, 2028. As a reminder, this notice must be provided to all mortgage loan borrowers within 45 days of becoming past due. You will want to be sure to add your name, address and contact information in the designated areas, so that a borrower will know how to request relief. While there is no mandatory compliance date listed, we recommend you implement this new form as soon as reasonably possible.
