Online Bankers Training - Will Flood Insurance Be Extended?

The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) is set to expire AGAIN on 9/30/10.  The House and Senate have both passed bills to extend the program until 9/30/11, but the President hasn’t signed it yet (he’s out of town).  Most likely, he’ll sign the extension, but when is the question.

Here’s a link to a website that tracks the progress of the bill.  You should be able to monitor this website to see if/when President Obama signs the extension.
