Field Notes Jan. 23

In the January 2023 edition of our magazine, Banking on BCC, we introduced a new monthly feature… Field Notes.

A recent google search described “field notes” as written observations recorded during or immediately following participant observations in the field and are considered critical to understanding phenomena encountered in the field.

That is exactly what we plan to bring you each month!

Our review team has the privilege of going into multiple financial institutions every week to conduct compliance reviews and provide consultation. They get to see firsthand what institutions, both large and small, are doing well and where their struggles lie. We aim to find some of those common errors and/or challenges and share them with you.

Field Notes joins our other current monthly features…Q & A Corner, BSA Bits & Pieces, Management Minute, and our Training Spotlight. These monthly features are in addition to the several feature articles we write each month to bring you the latest and greatest in regulatory compliance.

Be sure to check it out!
