2016 HMDA Threshold

The asset-size threshold used to determine HMDA (12 CFR 1003) applicability will remain unchanged from the 2015 amount. The threshold will be $44 million for 2016. This means any financial institution with an office located in a Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) and has assets in excess of $44 million as of December 31, 2015, will be subject to HMDA data collection and reporting requirements in 2016.
