FDIC Address Change

On Friday, the FDIC announced the address of its Consumer Response Center will change effective today (March 28, 2011).  This change applies to FDIC regulated financial institutions only.  Affected institutions will need to update their Adverse Action Notice forms and Fair Housing posters “as soon as practicable”.  The new address is:

The FDIC also specified that this change will not affect CRA notices.  Updated Fair Housing Posters may be obtained at no cost from the FDIC’s Public Information Center, 3501 Fairfax Drive, E-1014, Arlington, VA 22226 (877-275-3342 or 703-562-2200) or through FDICconnect.

Amy brings many years of banking and compliance experience to Banker’s Compliance Consulting. She has worked for both large and small financial institutions and spent time working in every area of a bank. She started out as a teller in college and eventually became a branch manager. Her love, however, was always compliance. Amy began her career with Banker’s Compliance Consulting in 2000.
