SAFE Act: What’s the Purpose?

Back in 2010, we were blessed with the SAFE Act. That’s the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act. The SAFE Act is all about keeping tabs on both financial institutions that participate in mortgage lending as well as the individual mortgage lenders that are employed by financial institutions.
