FinCEN to Enhance Secure Information Sharing System

FinCEN plans to make changes to its Secure Information Sharing System (SISS) in late September of this year. Some of the changes include:

•New design intended to be more user-friendly

•New password rules that will use challenge questions and prompt users to change their password every 90 days

•Ability for users to generate activity reports and complete self-verification automatically

•Ability to upload and securely transfer non-314(a) information to FinCEN

If you’re a 314(a) point of contact, you will want to watch your email for additional information.
