FDIC Official Digital Signs Update
During our Virtual Deposit Conference a couple weeks ago, Jerod covered a ton of information in the “Deposit Compliance in 2025 & Beyond” session. One thing he addressed was the current status of the FDIC’s rule regarding official digital signs. As you may recall, the mandatory compliance date has been delayed a couple of times now and it looks like that will happen again. Back in August the FDIC issued a proposal which would extend it out to January 1, 2027. Comments are due on the proposal by October 20, 2025.
