TRID Applications

It can be easy to assume that an application for one regulation is an application for all regulations. However, this is often not the case. Each regulation has its own definition of an application and, while there are times when these definitions line up with one another, lenders need to understand when that is the case and when it’s not. For example, there are differences between an application for TRID (Regulation Z), an application for HMDA (Regulation C) and an application for ECOA (Regulation B). Just because you have an application for one does not necessarily mean you have an application for all.
